I was born in a land of head
hunters and where giant man-eating crocodiles roam freely. With a
bloodline
that traces back to ruthless pirates, I am naturally independent and
non-conforming. Consequently at an early age of 9 I became a
goat
herder. Then I moved to Cambridge,
Mass for college and took photography seriously. When I first started I
shot
like a mad man for the campus paper which leads to my deep familiarity
with
photographic equipment and a permanent fascination for this
craft. In photography,
time has met its match. To date, I have shot well over
500,000
frames which include news, arts, people, sports, events, products,
weddings, real
estate and my 60 y.o. landlord's twin hemorrhoids (just kidding he's a
good
sport). My style is a blend of photojournalism
and art which
usually
demands a quick reflex and good instinct because the best photo
opportunities
are fleeting (so-called "decisive moment" coined by the legendary
street photographer the late Henri Cartier-Bresson).
Characterized as colorful, candid, sexy, dramatic and
action-packed, my nightlife photos embody an artistic representation of
the way people party
frozen at the zenith of their action and expression.
As a freelance photographer, I am
available to shoot at any location and
subject matter. So please check out my work in the photo section which
is
updated weekly and thanks for taking the time to read this
far. I hope
I'll be shooting for or with you soon!
